   Introducing TIVAR ฎ
    HOT

TIVARฎ H.O.T. (Higher Operating Temperature) was formulated to maintain key properties in an extended temperature range [80ฐ C up to 135ฐ C, depending on loads]. Due to the material‘s ability to inhibit the oxidation process, TIVARฎ H.O.T. demonstrates extended life at elevated temperature and thermo-cycling chemical environments. Given these properties, TIVARฎ H.O.T. represents a cost-efficient alternative to PTFE and Polyamide

Why use TIVARฎ H.O.T.?

• significantly reduced oxidation, therefore increased life span
• excels in environments and applications up to 135ฐ C [depending on loads]
• lasts up to 10 times longer than standard UHMW-PE at higher temperatures
• will not go brittle in hot filling applications [replaces standard UHMW-PE, PA6G and PTFE, temperature approx. 95 ฐC]
• economic alternative to PTFE
• high wear resistance
• increased chemical resistance compared to standard UHMW-PE
• meets following guidelines and directives: EU directive 2002/72/EC, FDA guidelines 21CFR178.2010 and 21CFR177.1520, USDA guidelines and 3-A-Dairy Sanitary Standard
• excellent release characteristics
• outstanding optical appearance [colour: bright-white]
• excellent coefficient of friction
