Consignments up to 30kgs and within certain size limits shall be delivered where possible by DPD within Ireland at a rate of €13.00 per shipment. We aim for your goods to arrive with you in 1 or 2 working days (Monday – Friday), however if there are stock issues involved with your order you will be informed by E-mail and where possible an alternative will be offered, or expected delivery date will be advised.
Special ordered items (those not listed within our web shop or orders that are above 30kgs) may not follow this standard rate and may have different costs depending on the dimensions of the package. You will be informed of the expected shipping costs when receiving a quotation from one of our staff.
Orders placed before 2:00pm Monday – Friday we will aim to dispatch the same day.
Goods supplied to Countries Outside Ireland.
Usually the best method for shipments outside Ireland is for the customer to collect via their own carrier. Please include the name and contact information of the freight company you would like us to ship your order by, and your account number with them.
We normally ship international consignments by DPD (door to door service), which is charged on a table rate. The cost of your consignment shall be advised by e-mail by acknowledgement of your order.
When ordering goods from Alperton Engineering Limited for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be born by you. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from Alperton Engineering Limited you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. We would like our international customers to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Returns
You can send your goods back to Alperton Engineering Limited within 7 working days with the original packaging, delivery note and the goods in the original condition (i.e. not drilled or machined) and we will review the condition of the materials and issue a refund or replacement. However, we will only refund for the value of the goods and not for the cost of the shipping. Note goods that have been cut to customer requirements may not be returned.
